Oldsmobile was behind some of the most radical street cars on the planet like W-Machine 442 that was nothing less than a thinly disguised race car. Extreme attention to detail would be an understatement to describe this particular W30 that  literally looks like it just rolled off the Lansing Michigan assembly line in 1969.

The performance parts on the street version of the 1969 Olds W30 were similar to the hard parts found on the  NHRA race car with the end result being a 13 second quarter mile car right off the showroom floor. This particular 442 leaves little off the Doctor Olds performance table with options that include; factory blueprinted Ram Rod engine, 3:91 Anti-Spin differential, special purpose suspension with front and rear sway bars, forced air induction system, specialized lightweight inner fenders, close ratio Hurst 4 speed and heavy duty radiator to name a few. As well this is a turn-key, fully sorted car that starts runs and drives like an absolute dream with show miles only since restored.

No compromise attention to detail was given to every exterior component on this particular 442 including the paint finish that's been show quality PPG Base/Cleared in it's original issue code 69 Platinum Silver then color sanded and compound polished to a 10 feet deep mirror finish right through to the underside of the doors. As well all of the exterior jewellery is nothing less than pristine by way of OE replacement or show quality triple plating right through to the door handles.

This is a Febuary 12 1969, Lansing Michigan built, one of 5 sold in Canada and one of 171 built W30 442 Sport Coupes that includes GM documentation to confirm it's factory issue option codes and original point of purchase dealership at Wolfe Chev Olds in Vancouver B.C. As well this is a collector owned, climate controlled housed car with only show miles driven since completion and includes picture documentation and receipts for restoration work completed. All of these pictures were taken on Feb/10/2024. Feel free to contact us for further information in regards to this W30 442 at (604) 617-2225 or Email detroit60cars@aol.com
